Unconfirmed Google Algorithm Update on July 24, 2020

Ranking changes at the end of July point to an update in Google’s algorithm.

Ranking volatility was high on 7/24.

Google's algorithm in 2020 has been on the constant move. There have already been two core algorithm updates as well as a variety of unconfirmed updates throughout the year. On July 24th, there looks to be another unconfirmed algorithm update that has shaken up search results.

There is no official statement from Google about an algorithm update at this time. That said, many webmasters voiced big ranking changes between the 23rd and the 24th. SEO Roundtable points to discussions on SEO forums and social media regarding the wide felt ranking fluctuations.
